Account Supervisor
JOB PURPOSE
This role will be responsible for the management and on-site execution of key events that make an impact to BUV target audience, including event planning, developing meeting and event strategy, vendor and venue procurement, provision of meeting planning services/support. The role also assist line manager in contracting and dealing as well as event budgeting management.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan and implement creative and engaging events in coordination with other marketing communications activities
• Support the Team in developing and proposing relevant in-house event plans which integrate well with BUV’s strategic marketing communications objectives
• Work with relevant agencies in big scale events for smooth and effective event management
• Identify collaboration opportunities with external business partners in events, sponsorship and joint marketing activities and propose to line manager.
• Lead event preparation and manage all deliverables within deadlines
• Provide hands-on leadership on-site during the events
• Support line manager to monitor event budget and reports
• Adhere to legal, health and safety regulations
• Keep up to date with marketing developments, trends and tools so as to share findings with other marketing team members
• Propose and pursue a professional development plan in line with your individual’s area of expertise and British University Vietnam.
MINIMUM ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
• Vietnamese national
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or a relevant discipline
• Minimum 3 years in event management
